Manual  FUE is one type of the FUE method that is performed in a manual way. Although there are differences between both the manual and micromotor extractions the common significant aim of both methods is the extraction of the hair follicles without causing any damage to the follicles.

FUE, the abbreviation of Follicular Unit Extraction, is one of the best hair transplant method applied by experienced surgeons in our center  and it has got two types namely the manual and the automated type. In the FUE method, the hair grafts are extracted from the nape area of the patient. The donor area is the area on which hair density is high on the patient’s scalp. The recipient  area is the place where the hair follicles are going to be implanted. The usage of needles or punches commonly 0.8mm and 1.0mm range sized punches are seen in the manual FUE technique. Special rotating an oscillating machines for fast and efficient incision around the hair graft are used during the hair transplant surgery with the manual FUE method. Due to the lack of tactile feedback of the surgeon as a result of classic motorized extraction devices, the follicular damage may be increased.
